LOS ANGELES, Sept. 27 (UPI) — Zach Galifianakis is against having Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump on his awkward Funny or Die talkshow, Between Two Ferns.

“No. That doesn’t interest me,” the comedian said during an interview with The Los Angles Times after he was asked if Trump’s campaign was interested in appearing on the show after his opponent Hillary Clinton did to much fanfare.

“Doing it the other way doesn’t interest me. He’s the kind of guy who likes attention — bad attention or good attention. So you’re dealing with a psychosis there that’s a little weird,” Galifianakis continued.

 

“I wouldn’t have somebody on that’s so mentally challenged. I feel like I’d be taking advantage of him. And you can print that.”

Galifianakis also shared how he felt Clinton had a good sense of humor during her appearance and was game for the type of off-putting questions he normally presents during the show.

“I was very impressed with her,” he said. “I walked away from that whole interview going, ‘She’s cool.’ I thought she was cool, and I don’t know if that was my impression of her before that.”

Galifianakis has also had President Obama appear on Between Two Ferns in 2014 in order to get young people to sign up health insurance under the Affordable Care Act.

Creating + viewing the color YELLOW is like holding water!

My work needs an actual encounter.

The BREATH series are GOLD on the dawn’s yellow.

The  iridescent gold vanishes during a unique equation/matrix

of the ambient light and the position of the viewer.

X

The ICANFEEL series are the same color -yellow/GOld,

and, depending on the ambient light and position of viewer,

the color shifts and the luminosity of the graphite pencil incised into the surface glistens.

X

The GoldBirdSONG series are line drawings on 100% cotton rag board.

The color pencil is Canary Yellow.

I drawLISTEN- total dive off a cliff,

then cut them up the long boards

and

then honed LISTENing as I make the parts

into VISUALsonICS.

My art is an experience of witnessing- listening with your palms open.

My art is a performance.

It is akin to the visceral/sensual experience between

looking at a photograph of your beloved

and

being in the actual presence of your beloved.

When I returned from NYC to my TC homeland,

I needed to adjust to the vastness of space, botanical green

and the unique blue of the Minnesota sky.

I was a P. S. 1  Studio Residency Fellow

– 1 of 41 artists worldwide to receive this prestigious award.

It was August when I returned to my birth certificate home.

I lived my life while in NYC on 115 Mulberry Street, Little Italy.

It was HOME to me – more HOME than my birth certificate home.

I found a loft in St. Paul.

St. Paul reminded me of TriBeCa : the scale.

It was a massive space in a warehouse of mixed small businesses.

The building was owned by Henry Zaidan,

 a real estate developer and an Egyptian with dual citizenship in Canada.

Henry was/is a remarkable Renaissance man.

I miss him.

He has since returned to Montreal where people have dialogues and discourse.

Henry understood art and was an astute art collector.

I observed him as I would present my NEW work.

Henry possesses exquisite sensibilities.

He collected my art for his private collection.

He was HOME to me.

I received the BUSH ARTIST FELLOWSHIP.

I needed to learn to unfurl my wings after the compressed NYC blue sapphire life.

I bought rolls of 5′ width paper.

I taped brushes on the ends of branches.

I mixed blue paint.

I created lengths of instantly blue paintings.

Actions of blue.

Singing the blues.

A cousin from Arizona visited my studio.  

I showed him my BLUE PAINTINGS.

The yellow color I selected for

I met Steve Lacy 2x @ Lowell Pickett’s 1st Dakota.  

His sonics enthralled me.

Acutely thrilling.

We spoke after  his sets which was my first encounter,

my initiation to his sonics.

He wanted to see my visual art- and, we made that happen.

There was a resonant discovery of  a synergistic connection with our work.

Steve sent me his vinyl SIDEWAYS once he returned from Paris.

Steve played @ The Dakota a few times.

My experiences had to be in 1998 – 2000.)
