“We are now faced with the fact
that tomorrow is today.
We are confronted with
the fierce urgency of now.
In this unfolding conundrum
of life and history,
there “is” such a thing
as being too late.
This is no time for apathy or complacency.
This is a time for vigorous and positive action.”

Keeping empathy suppressed and denied, when an innate action of humane courage is imperative, is a decision to be silence itself
– to be complicit.
All of us have been blessed with someone’s humane actions of kindness, when our worlds seemed to have shattered, that fortified our hope, our faith, our courage, our body and mind.
Practicing humanity begins with you and me.
The measure of our character is our capacity to see/reality, empathize/compassion and do the right thing/step UP moral courage.
Recall the times when your world was fragile, and someone’s actions of “SEEING” you and, in turn, they stepped UP and fulfilled your need
– a testament of radiant RADICAL HOPE.

Our HUMANITY to SEE the invisible as VISIBLE
and
PROTECT OUR CHILDREN
from being murdered by assault guns is NOW.
Are we NOW a nation of PTSD survivors of GUN VIOLENCE?
GUN VIOLENCE is a fact in OUR schools, churches and theaters.

“Thoughts and Prayers” of our nation’s elected – alleged – leaders

The children of OUR nation are RISING!
The “fierce urgency of NOW” is THEIRS.
Our NATION must RISE and NOT be complicit.
Our ACTIONS tell the TRUTH of America’s REAL values.
Weaponizing/ARMING/stockpiling our schools with guns – NO WAY!
NO CHILDREN HUNTING.
FEAR cancels OUT learning/teaching/creativity.
PLEASE watch Emma Gonzalez, student/survivor of the Stoneman Douglas High School massacre.
Oh c’mon NRA’s Dana Loesch: “These people are CRAZY people…”
The 18 y/o was armed with an ASSAULT weapon
– hunters do NOT use assault and semi-automatic weapons or bump stock their guns!
Stoneman Douglas High School students are NOW revolutionaries of the NOW.

FRESHDRIEDBLOODIAMHUMAN Catherine L. Johnson 2013
Once again, Catherine L Johnson reveals to the world her responsibility as an artist and as a human being to speak and show the truth about our nation! She created and made bloom her project to bring Warmth to the homeless people of St. Paul through opportunities for us to donate hats, gloves, scarves and socks on Valentines week. She encourages us to be the best citizens that we can be and stand up for the safety of our country. She touches me with her deep love for humanity that she shows us face-to-face as well as through her glorious works of art. Thank you for inspiring me to become more of the best I can possibly be.
