Joey Alexander – Over The Rainbow

This was played this afternoon on KBEM, 88.5, the jazz station in the Twin Cities.

I texted the station manager, Michele, a dear friend,

who, in a fast turnaround texted me the information of WHO was the pianist

– a young prodigy.

What a gift to hear this   astonishing, beautiful, soulful  rendition

on this VERY day.

This rendition, played by a boy, I believe, Mother would love.
