samplings from this beautiful love song
created in 1939.

It is my favorite love song.

The song describes a romantic love
that is a natural,
an ever-changing sacred energy,
not a tether, nor a possession,
but,
an exploration of a majestic,
expansive,
improvisational open field
full of wonder and humility,
an ever evolving
breath
of
the very life of life
itself.

I started the portfolio
in the beginning of springtime
and
completed the portfolio towards the end of summer
– still beholding + enveloping the vestiges of spring’s chartreuse.
