Thank you
to all
who stepped up
and
participated
in
The
STAND YOUR GROUND FOR TRAYVON MARTIN
Installation.
Hoodies were delivered
from those who lived/live in:
Africa; Israel; Canada; Colorado;
Missouri; Arizona; California; Georgia
and
my home state,
Minnesota-
the heartland of the United States.
Minnesota’s Governor Mark Dayton
VETOED
the “Castle Doctrine”
on
5 March 2012.
This installation is Y/OUR call out
for
social justice,
moral courage
and
truth.
I salute you.
One moment can create a r/evolution- a new blueprint.
With tears in her eyes,
Trayvon’s mom,
Sybrina Fulton
told everyone-
“We wanted nothing more,
nothing less,
just an arrest that’s all we wanted was an arrest
from the very beginning…
a heart has no color
its not black or white
it’s red,
thank you
from
my heart
to
your heart.”
Break OPEN,
Catherine L. Johnson
